As seen on TV!

This week, I finally achieved one of my life goals. Might not seem like a big thing.. but believe me, for a piper it is. I got to play Auld Lang Syne at midnight on TV!

But wait, it’s still May…. Let me explain….

Through a random email contact and a few ups and downs long the way. I was booked to perform on Jane McDonald & Friends New Year’s Eve Special! Which incidentally has been pre-recorded in May? Never mind, TV schedules!

It was a great experience and I got to work with one of the most talent entertainers in the country, Jane McDonald of Loose Women and The Cruise fame. She was very complimentary of my playing, which I was quite chuffed with to be honest. As our original plan of Amazing Grace went so well, the production team and Jane’s band, asked if we could throw something together for Auld Lang Syne. Just like that I realised what I was getting to do! Amazing!

So this New Year I can be two places at once! On the telly and fingers crossed at a fantastic gig!
